তুলির আচড়ে ফুটে উঠে
রক্তিম সূর্যের মতো কবিতারা ।
……দেখে বুঝা যায় না
ঐ রক্তিম সূর্যটা উদয়ের না অস্তের।
তারপর ও কলম চলে,
কবিতারা চলে……
অত:পর জীবন ও থেমে থাকে না……

কবি সুমন সাহা ১৯৮৮ সালের ১৫ জুন ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া জেলার সদরে জন্ম গ্রহণ করেন। পিতা মাখন লাল সাহা ও মাতা শেফালী রানী সাহা‘র কনিষ্ট পুত্র কবির শৈশবেই কবিতার প্রতি প্রবল ঝোক পরিলক্ষিত হয়। সম্প্রতি কবির প্রকাশিত প্রথম যৌথ কাব্যগ্রন্থ ”মেঘের ভেলা”। ২০২০ সালোর অমর গ্রন্থমেলায় তিনি সম্পাদনা করেন যৌথ কাব্যগ্রন্থ “কাব্যতরী”। কবি বিভিন্ন স্থানীয় ও জাতীয় পত্রিকা, জনপ্রিয় অনলাইন প্রোর্টাল ও বিভিন্ন ফেইসবুক গ্রুপে নিয়মিত লিখালিখি করেন।
উল্লেখ্য যে তিনি ২০০৮ সাল হতে “কবির কলম” নামে ’একটি কবি ও কবিতা বিষয়ক সংগঠন’ -এর প্রতিষ্ঠা সভাপতি হিসাবে দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছেন।
তিনি স্বপ্ন দেখেন কবিতাকে লালনের মাধ্যমে পৃথিবিকে আলোকিত করার।
